Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (includes ~30-minute break; please bring a snack)
In this 5-day camp, students will explore the world of Impressionism through the work of Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, and Camille Pissarro. Each day focuses on a different artist, their style, and techniques, followed by a hands-on art project inspired by their work.
Students will experiment with color, light, texture, and movement while developing their creativity and artistic confidence. Projects include Monet’s Lily Pond with a Bridge, a Van Gogh-inspired pop-up room, Degas’ foil ballerina, Cassatt-inspired papier-mâché hat, and Pissarro’s landscape dot painting.
All students will take home their artworks, building a beautiful collection by the end of the week.
