Art Studio for Kids & Teens in Manalapan, NJ
Small group art classes where children learn to draw, paint, and build with their hands — developing focus, confidence, and a genuine love for creating.
About Sketch & Sculpt
Sketch & Sculpt was founded by Natalia Syrbu, an architect, visual artist, and mom, with a deep focus on form, space, and hands-on creation.
The studio was created to give children a small, inspiring space where they can draw, paint, sculpt, and explore ideas through real materials — learning how a simple idea grows into a finished project.
Our Classes for Kids
Children develop observation, sketching, and painting skills side by side — learning to work from life, explore different painting techniques, understand color and composition, and express ideas through guided practice.
Working with clay, plaster, and mixed materials, children explore volume, structure, and balance while learning how different tools and materials work.
The process often begins with sketches and ideas, gradually developing into a finished project — encouraging creativity, experimentation, and confidence in working with form.
Children explore world architecture while building models and structures from recycled and found materials.
Through hands-on projects, they learn about culture, details, form, and construction — discovering how ideas, space, and materials come together in three-dimensional work.
In Painting classes, children explore creativity through various painting techniques and styles. Along the way, they gain an appreciation for the value of art in reflecting and shaping our society.
